Data Privacy Statement for Jayco Family TPMS

This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected by the Jayco Family TPMS App and how we use it.

Section 1 - Information on the collection of personal data

  1. We inform you in the following about the collection of personal data when you use our website. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally, e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses, user behavior, etc.
  2. The controller pursuant to Article 4(7) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is SpartanLync Technologies Corp. 4280 Harvester Road, Units 5&6. You can contact our data protection officer by e-mail to support@spartanlync.com or by mail to our mailing address for the attention of / or in the subject line “The Data Protection Officer”.
  3. If you contact us by e-mail or using a contact form, the data provided by you (your e-mail address and possibly your name and your telephone number) will be stored by us in order to answer your question. We delete the data collected in this connection after it is no longer necessary to store it or we restrict the processing if statutory retention requirements apply.
  4. We inform you in detail below of the relevant procedures for when we make use of commissioned service providers for individual functions related to our offer or would like to use your data for advertising purposes. We also state here the criteria defined for the period for which the data is stored.

Section 2 - Your rights

  1. You have the following rights that you can assert against us with regard to the personal data concerning you.
    • Right to information;
    • Right to rectification or erasure;
    • Right to restriction of processing;
    • Right to object to processing;
    • Right to data portability.
  2. You furthermore have the right to file a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.

Section 3 - Collection of personal data when using Jayco Family TPMS

  1. Jayco Family TPMS collects TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) data (documented below) over Bluetooth required to perform the App features as documented on this site.
  2. Additionally, LOCATION data is accessible by the app during Bluetooth scanning, but not collected, stored, or shared by Jayco Family TPMS outside of the device.
  3. In addition, all information and user preferences that are collected by Jayco Family TPMS is only stored on their mobile device and never shared off the device.
  4. The collected TPMS data, trailer information, and user preferences is also deleted from their mobile device when Jayco Family TPMS is uninstalled.

Section 4 - Collection of TPMS or any other data

  1. Information in Jayco Family TPMS is either entered by the user from the Setup Wizard or Settings Tab or collected via Bluetooth with Jayco Family TPMS via it's tire sensors.
  2. Jayco Family TPMS collects the following TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) data on all tires with installed sensors.
    • Tire pressure in kPa
    • Tire temperature in Celsius
    • Tire pressure leakage status
    • Battery voltage level
    • ID of sensor installed into tire
    • LOCATION data via Bluetooth scanning is accessible but not collected or stored by the app
