Class A Motorhome TPMS

Factory-Integrated TPMS.
From the Wheel to the Dash.

SpartanLync delivers a complete tire pressure monitoring solution for most Class A motorhomes. Sensors are installed inside the tires and the TPMS data is transmitted along the CAN system of the vehicle to the driver’s instrument panel display.

Built Into the Vehicle

Not another accessory.
A true vehicle system.

SpartanLync works with chassis manufacturers, wheel and tire partners, and motorhome builders to integrate TPMS into the vehicle architecture from the start. The result is a clean OEM solution that brings tire information into the driver environment without adding a separate aftermarket display.

TPMS Solution Integration Path

One integration path.
Four production stages.

The SpartanLync Class A solution is designed around the way motorhomes are actually built. Each component is integrated at the stage where it makes the most sense — creating a reliable system before the coach reaches the customer.

A 433 MHz band-on TPMS sensor is installed at the wheel. The sensor ID is barcoded to the specific tire for traceable assembly.

Rim / Tire Manufacturer

The TPMS ECU is factory-installed on the chassis and connected to the wiring harness. It collects wheel-sensor signals and broadcasts TPMS information onto the vehicle CAN network.

Chassis Manufacturer

The body builder completes the coach around a TPMS-ready chassis architecture, enabling tire information to become part of the finished vehicle experience.

Motorhome Builder

TPMS data is displayed in real time in the vehicle’s instrument panel so the driver can monitor tire status in the same environment as the rest of the coach information.

Integration FAQ

What an OEM needs to know

Where is the TPMS sensor installed?

The full-vehicle Class A architecture uses an internal band-on sensor installed at the rim/tire manufacturer. The presentation specifies a 433 MHz sensor installed around the wheel hub area, with the TPMS sensor ID barcoded to the specific tire.

How does tire data get into the motorhome?

A SpartanLync TPMS ECU is factory-installed at the chassis manufacturer, connected to the chassis wiring harness, and used to collect TPMS signals from the wheels. It then broadcasts the information onto the vehicle CAN system.

Where does the driver see TPMS information?

In the full integration architecture, TPMS data is displayed in real time in the vehicle instrument panel, keeping tire information within the OEM driver interface.

Does the system require a separate aftermarket TPMS screen?

No separate aftermarket screen is required in this full-vehicle integration architecture because the tire data is designed to be presented through the vehicle’s instrument panel.

Which Class A chassis programs use SpartanLync TPMS?

This page highlights Spartan RV Chassis programs and the Freightliner Custom Chassis XC platform, based on SpartanLync’s current program scope.

How long do the sensor batteries last?

5–7 years.
